What is coaching?

Coaching is a partnership between coach and student. Together they set goals, discover strengths and build practical strategies for organization, time management, task initiation and emotional regulation.

Why coaching?

Executive functions are skills, and skills can be taught. With the right strategies, students gain clarity, reduce overwhelm and strengthen self-trust in school and at home.

When youth feel understood and supported, engagement, confidence and outcomes improve.

Coaching programs

Support for students, parents and the organizations that serve them.

1:1 student coaching

Individual coaching that helps students master executive functioning skills, improve focus and build sustainable academic habits through a culturally responsive lens.

Meet your coach

ADHD Momentum Coaching began with a parent and educator who coached her own son through organization, time management and task initiation using visual tools and steady strategies. He graduated at the honours level and went on to university.

She saw too many Black students disciplined instead of supported, and built this practice to change that.
